WL-42

It Was Fun I tried to buy a used WL-42 years ago at a farm sale.  I was always outbid over the price of a new WL-21.  My banker understood, and in no time I got my new 21 loader.  My local dealer said I could pick it up at the factory, and you know, it was fun!  Those guys bent over backwards to get my new loader to me.  That was 15 years ago.  It's about time somebody said something about being built in the GOOD OLD USA again.  Tell them boys doin' the weldin' to keep up the good work... they got it better than NASA when it comes to steel!

23 Years I've had my WL-42 loader for 23 years and haven't had to ever put a weld on it!

I saw your article to Farm Bureau Magazine. We bought a loader of yours in 1972 and later a grapple fork in 1976. All is still working well. Only one little cylinder repair once. We feed cattle and it is used hard for everything. My cost of the loader at the time was $1111.11 bought from Barnard Implement in Eldora, IA. I am 82 years old and still using your loader after 34 years. Keep up the good work.

I have bought and mounted my new forks on the tractor. I absolutely LOVE the forks--they are GREAT!!!

For 22 years my WL-42 loader was my most dependable machine on the farm. It had everything--easy on and off, bucket leveler, grapple hooks, strength of construction and perfect engineering. It was never babied, and it never broke. When I retired and sold the farm machinery, the tractor with the Westendorf loader brought a good price.

When I went shopping for a loader, I did some research, and word of mouth told me that Westendorf was the way to go. Everybody that I talked to only had good things to say, especially if I ever needed replacement parts. So, after getting my WL-42, I can tell you that it is the best loader I have ever seen, and I've seen a few loaders in my time. I like the way it mounts and dismounts, the quick-attach system, and the overall fit and performance. My brother liked it so much after trying it out, he bought the exact same loader two weeks later. Now we can share attachments and get twice as much done.

I am extremely happy with my Westendorf TA-26 loader. I have always bought Bush Hog in the past, but they don't hold a candle to a Westendorf loader. I like it 100%!

I have three Westendorf loaders--WL-42C, TA-26, and a WL-21 I've had for over 30 years. I use my TA-26 and 42C for round bales. Westendorf has the best high lift loader for hay. The Quick-Attach is nice to convert other attachments on the market to my Westendorf loader. None are broken or busted up. They still work and look good!

I've hauled everything in this loader (WL-42) but the Queen of England!

They Just Don't Compare I own both a 20 series and 40 series Traction Action Loader by Westendorf.  I've owned others in the past, and they just don't compare.  My Westendorfs are large loaders built with strength and durability.  I can easily push silage into my bunker, and my GF-52 grab fork comes back out of the way so I never have to take it off.  It's an excellent tool to handle bunker silage.

You guys make a great loader, next thing now is a bale spear.

Attention all farmers and ranchers, if you want a fantastic loader that slides on and off quickly, Westendorf is the loader for you. I have used a WL-42 for years, parted with it, and got me a John Deere 740…biggest mistake I ever made! The 740 don't slide off like the Westendorf models, and I will be trading or selling my tractor with the 740 on it and getting a Westendorf to replace it. The 740 is a joke the way it comes on and off, and I can't wait to have a Westendorf on the farm again! Just another satisfied Westendorf loader customer. Keep up the great job. Yours truly, Phil.
